On her 78th birthday, Kareen Kapoor Khan shares a previously unseen photo of herself with her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore.

Kareena uploaded a photo to her Instagram story in which the two are wearing black clothing.

Tagore wore a kurta with a high neck and a winter cap whereas Khan opted for a black top and tan leggings.

“Happy Birthday to my gorgeous mother-in-law,” wrote the Laal Singh Chaddha actress.

Khan has, on multiple occasions, referenced her deep bond. Sharmila has acknowledged her fondness for her daughter-in-law in numerous interviews. She also revealed in one of the interviews that when her husband Mansoor Ali Khan passed away, Kareena was a source of strength for her.

Saif Ali Khan’s mother also remarked that Kareena’s laid-back demeanor is what she admires most about her.

Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in Hansal Mehta’s upcoming untitled film. According to sources, she also has The Devotion Suspect X and The Crew in development.
