On his 87th birthday, director Karan Johar sent Dharmendra new photos of the seasoned performer taken on the set of their next movie Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani. On Thursday, Karan shared many photos on Instagram that also included himself.
In the first picture, Dharmendra was smiling and standing in a room while donning a maroon pullover and a scarf. In the subsequent image, the actor could be seen grinning while strolling outside. He was looking forward while donning a black coat and a scarf. The final image showed Karan seated in front of Dharmendra, who was seated in a wheelchair.

Sharing the pictures, Karan captioned the post, “Happy Birthday to a megastar with the kindest heart and the warmest aura… it’s been an honour, pleasure and privilege to direct you Dharamji…. @aapkadharam … you are a blessing to our film #rockyaurranikipremkahani.” Director and choreographer Farah Khan commented, “Most handsome hero everr.”

Celebrating his birthday with his wife, the actress Hema Malini. She shared pictures of herself with Dharmendra on Twitter earlier in the day. Hema wrote, “Praying for dear Dharam ji’s good health on his birthday today. Wish him a long and healthy life filled always with happiness and joy! My prayers will be with him today and every day of our lives. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the love of my life.”
Later, Hema also shared several images from his birthday celebration with his daughters Esha and Ahana Deol. One of the pictures shows her feeding him a slice of cake. Additionally, the family posed for photos as a unit. sharing the article, Hema wrote, “Birthday celebrations today – at home.”

The following movie starring Dharmendra is Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani. The movie, which Karan directed, also has Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan in the lead parts. On April 28, 2023, it is scheduled to premiere in theatres.
In filmmaker Anil Sharma’s upcoming film Apne 2, Dharmendra will co-star with Sunny, Bobby, and Karan Deol. Apart from that, he also has Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, and the upcoming Ikkis film from filmmaker Sriram Raghvan.
