Neetu Kapoor criticised the anonymous online fashion blog Diet Sabya on her Instagram Story for conducting a poll featuring her and actor Disha Patani. Having shared their initial post, Neetu wrote, “You guys are wild comparing me to a kid.” The caption was accompanied by emojis of a grimacing face and a monkey covering its eyes. The actor was drawing attention to the ‘wild’ comparison made in the vote between her and Disha, who is 30 years old. In July, Neetu turned 64.

The original Diet Sabya poll compared Disha and Neetu’s various costumes in a stylists’ duel. Veteran actor Neetu wore a pink Indian outfit styled by Mohit Rai, while Disha wore a black two-piece outfit designed by Aastha Sharma.

Neena Gupta, who was sporting a white sari and a black blouse, was the opponent in the online poll that Diet Sabya tweeted after Neetu shared the article on her Stories. The seasoned performer is still silent regarding the Second Story.

After a nine-year absence from the big screen, Neetu made her acting comeback in the multi-starrer family movie Jugjugg Jeeyo alongside co-stars Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani. After the passing of her actor spouse Rishi Kapoor in March 2020, she stepped into the position. She was persuaded to accept the role by both director Karan Johar and her son, the actor Ranbir Kapoor.

The actor previously disclosed that she would appear in an unannounced web series while promoting Jugjugg Jeeyo. During a morning session, Neetu posted a photo of herself on set with her colleagues. She participated as a judge on Dance Deewane Juniors on Colors this year as well. Yodha and Project K, two films directed by Disha, are scheduled for release in 2019.
