Lindsie Chrisley Reflects on Being ‘Brokenhearted’

Lindsie Chrisley is still processing the news that her parents were sentenced to prison for financial crimes. The former Chrisley Knows Best star tweeted a selfie of herself with her son Jackson on Tuesday. Psalm 34:18 was posted.

Lindsie, 33, captioned the Story with the Hillsong Worship song “Who You Say I Am.” Lindsie posted a cryptic TikTok from @quote a sermon.

The Story captioned a preacher stating, “The Enemy deploys the strongest artillery on the most purposeful.” “If a lot is against you, God put a lot in you.”

Todd, 53, was sentenced to 12 years in jail with 16 months probation and Julie, 49, to 7 years in prison with 16 months probation. Peter Tarantino, their former accountant, was also sentenced to 36 months for fraud.

The Chrisley Know Best stars were convicted of bank and tax fraud in June. Julie committed wire fraud.

 

 

Todd and Julie’s attorneys submitted a joint motion for a new trial, delaying their sentencing to Nov. 21.

Chrisley’s attorney said the family remains “optimistic” and plans to fight the verdicts.

“Yesterday was tough for the Chrisleys. Todd and Julie are religious, which provides them strength as they plead . “The government lied to jurors about the couple’s taxes, among other errors. We’re optimistic about the future given these challenges.”

Lindsie has been coping with the chaos. On the night of her parents’ sentencing, she spent time with friends, thanking them for “showing up with hugs and champagne.”
