Drishyam 2 had a successful first week, grossing over Rs. 100 cr. After a great opening weekend, the film’s weekdays dropped by barely 10%. Genre has restrictions, but the sequel component has helped the film capture more eyeballs. Drishyam 2’s first week is only topped by Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva.

Drishyam 2 earned Rs. 8.60 cr on its debut Thursday, down 10% from Wednesday. The robust trend has also insured that the picture will retain shows in its second ticketing week, despite the release of Bhediya. Drishyam 2 will aim for a second week domestic total of about Rs. 50 cr nett to maintain it on track for over Rs. 200 cr nett. While becoming the year’s biggest grossing Hindi picture is unlikely, the film could outgross The Kashmir Files in Mumbai.

Drishyam 2 is doing well worldwide for an Ajay Devgn flick. First week abroad gross collections are 3 million dollars, and the picture hopes to earn 5 million dollars in its lifespan and rank among the top 5 most overseas grossing Hindi films of 2022.
