Six well-known foreign athletes have signed up for the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8) season eight draft.
Some of the players that have so far registered for the PSL 8 draft include David Miller of South Africa, Jason Roy and Dawid Malan of England, Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh, and Dasun Shanaka and Wanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka.
Miller and Roy’s involvement in the draft has already been announced by the PSL on its official social media channels.

The draft will probably occur in the third week of November 2022, it should be emphasized.
The pick order for the draft has already been made public by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), with the defending champion Lahore Qalandars having the first choice.
Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators will be selected second and third, respectively. Karachi Kings and Islamabad United will make the fourth and fifth selections, respectively. Peshawar Zalmi will choose sixth, in the meantime.

Before deciding on player retention, the teams will now submit relegation requests. All teams are given the chance to meet the player’s base category when relegation requests are submitted. The PCB stated in a news statement that if the player’s basic category is not matched, the player “may be demoted to a category below his base category.”
The next event will take place from 9 February to 19 March 2023 at four locations: Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan.
