Amit Ravindernath Sharma, best known for the movie Badhai Ho, directed the movie. In addition to Rudranil Ghosh, a Bengali actor, Gajraj Rao, and Priyamani, Maidaan stars Ajay Devgn.
The film’s narrative is based on the heyday of Indian football. Syed Abdul Rahim, a football coach, will be played by Devgn.
