Taika Waititi’s wedding to Rita Ora originally generated speculations in August after the director was photographed donning a wedding band. Unnamed sources reported that they had a small ceremony in London and planned a larger party for later.
The singer recently waxed romantic on Jaime Winstone’s podcast, Greatest Night Ever.
She also discussed how entering her 30s motivated her to pursue acting and other endeavours in order to develop into a multifaceted artist.
The British singer, who has released two albums, Ora (2012) and Phoenix (2018), is getting ready to transfer her focus to the big screen, and she’s no stranger to it. Her third album is set to be released the following year.
Rita has demonstrated that she has what it takes to make it in Hollywood by playing Pokémon Detective Pikachu and Christian Grey’s sister, Mia, in the Fifty Shades of Grey series, which was her greatest part to date.
The 31-year-old hopes to discover a new side of creativity with the help of New Zealand actor and filmmaker Taika.
She mentioned movies as her next objective when questioned about her next ventures.
“I love doing films,” she explained. “I would love to express my creativity through films. I have always looked at myself as a 360 artist.”
“My dream is to show everybody that you can do more than one thing,” she explained to fans.
“You can be a musician; you can be an actor; you can be a dancer; you can be a mother… and a grandmother all at the same time.”
“Now I’m 30, it’s time to get this ball rolling,” she laughed. “I wanna try and do everything.”

Rita Ora, a musician well known for her song How We Do, gushed over Taika Waititi. She called him “so funny and lovely,” but she wouldn’t discuss their romance.
Even when it comes to her high-profile romance with Calvin Harris, Rita hardly ever talked about her romantic relationships. Therefore, it will be some time before she shares more.
On Tuesday’s episode, she confessed to Jaime, “I’m very much in love.”
“I’m in love, I’m in love, amen!” Rita hummed.
But I also cherish love. She continued, using her parents’ 30-year marriage as an example. “I’ve always been such a believer in it, and I’ve always felt like I always wanted the fairytale and that’s what I grew up adoring,” she said.
“My parents have been together for over 30 years, so for me, it was always about love and finding a partner and all that, so I’m really happy I did,” the former coach of The Voice UK continued.
