Today, September 22, the comedian was cremated at Delhi’s Nigambodh Ghat. Ayushman Srivastava, the late comedian’s son, officiated at the funeral rites.

Sunil Pal and Ahsaan Qureshi, two of his close friends and stand-up comedians, are also in Delhi. Many respected figures from the political and literary worlds paid their final respects. To catch one last glimpse of Raju Srivastava, a sea of people gathered. His family made the decision to cremate him in Delhi. They had originally discussed moving his mortal remains to Mumbai or Kanpur, but they have now decided to pay their respects in Delhi.

Raju’s in-brother law’s confirmed the news that his funeral will take place in Delhi. When Raju Srivastava’s blood pressure dropped, he told IndiaToday.in that CPR was performed. He responded to it at first, but then he passed out. Added he, “The ventilator was supposed to be removed in 2-3 days. Medicine doses had also been decreased.”

Concerning Raju Srivastava
He has appeared on a number of well-known comedy programmes, including Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show, Shaktimaan, and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. The comedian also played some important roles in Bollywood movies like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Tezaab, and Baazigar.
His wife Shikha, son Ayushman, and daughter Antara all survive him.
