• The show is set to premiere on October 14.
• The show’s trailer begins with a bang, as Dimple (Prajakta Koli) can be seen shouting.

New faces can also be seen in the show’s trailer, including Priya Banerjee, Ahsaad Channa, and Sanjana Sarathy.

The web series’ plot centres on a group of outcasts who enrolled in a summer course in the city of Jaipur. The group battles with bullying, body shaming, mental health issues, and identity issues.

Along with Prajakta Kohli and Rohit Saraf, the show also stars Vihaan Samat, Vidya Malvade, Abhinav Sharma, Devyani Shorey, Taaruk Raina, Muskkaan Jaferi, Rannvijay Singha, and Kritika Bharadwaj.

With the caption, “Can’t wait to show y’all what’s in store for Dimple and Rishi in this new season of #Mismatched. Mismatched season 2 drops on 14th October, only on @netflix_in. It’s a non-date.”

According to reports, Sandhya Menon’s 2017 book When Dimple Met Rishi served as the inspiration for the television series. Akarsh Khurana is the show’s director.
