Additionally, Sunny believes that in the past, “writers and directors had a firm grip over emotions” in the art of cinema, something that is lacking in the present. Sunny recalled his father’s career in the movie business and related how Dharmendra used to shoot numerous films in a day while juggling between sets. Given that the actors were able to stay true to their roles, he begins to doubt the caliber of the writers and directors. Sunny revealed that there were just narrated scripts; no written screenplays existed. He claimed that although there are binding scripts used today, they are not even close to how things were done in the past. He believes he ought to have lived throughout that time.
