The cast of Aanand L. Rai’s blockbuster movie “Raksha Bandhan,” which includes superstar Akshay Kumar, recently arrived in Jaipur as part of a tour of different cities in the country. In Jaipur, Akshay Kumar and the rest of the cast went to the popular Goliyawas village on the city’s outskirts. They also went to the office of a well-known media outlet.
Women there are known for making hand-made rakhis that are sent all over India. Akshay Kumar, director/producer Aanand L. Rai, and the rest of the Raksha Bandhan team met with IPS officers and members of the Indian military. They also got 20,000 rakhi from all over India.
Raksha Bandhan was directed by Aanand L. Rai, produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma with Zee Studios, Alka Hiranandani, and Cape of Good Films, and written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon. Himesh Reshammiya wrote the music, and Irshad Kamil wrote the lyrics.
Raksha Bandhan featuring Bhumi Pednekar, Akshay Kumar, Neeraj Sood, Seema Pahwa, Sadia Khateeb, Abhilash Thapliyal, Deepika Khanna, Smrithi Srikanth and Sahejmeen Kaur is all set to release on 11th August 2022.
