Sindh CM has proactively leading the preventive measures against the coronavirus pandemic in Sindh alongside officials from the health department.
Sindh was the first province to impose a lockdown to contain the coronavirus.
The virus has infected almost 900 people all over Pakistan and nearly 400 in the province alone.
However, a large number of the positive cases are patients in Sukkur who arrived from Iran via Taftan border and tested positive of COVID 19.
Officials from the health department have time and again emphasized on the need for social distancing and measures for prevention against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Sindh government has also set up an official information cell on Twitter dedicated to providing updates on the pandemic at @19sindh.
Moreover, the CM’s law adviser, Murtaza Wahab has continuously provided timely updates on data pertaining to the coronavirus cases through his Twitter account.
