In order to determine whether one of its soldiers shot the Palestinian-American journalist who died; Israel announced on Sunday that it will analyse the bullet; that was used in her death. A U.S. observer would be present for the procedure; which might produce results in a matter of hours.
The Palestinians said they had the information that Israel would not participate in the ballistics.
Washington has not yet responded. To commemorate July 4; there is a holiday weekend in the US.
