“In 2021, three years from now. I received a call from a mobile shop owner in Jehlum after I had already purchased a new kindle and tablet and had completely forgotten about the lost luggage, she continued.
Unexpectedly, a small business owner discovered her valuable possessions and searched the computer’s hard drive for a phone number to call her. “My brother travelled all the way to Jehlum to get the items and give the man some thanks. The man barely made a livelihood, lived in a small village, and operated a little mobile business. But he did everything he could to get a lost item back to its owner,” Khadija continued.
With over 12k likes and several reactions, the post has gained a lot of traction. Others stated that there are still nice individuals in the world while some wrote about how great the occurrence was.

Just realized I never told twitter this bizarre story. In 2018 I lost my laptop bag at Islamabad airport after an exhausting flight. It had my iPad, kindle and a hard disk. The hard disk had all my phone’s backup. I was devastated but I got over it.

Then my brother drove all the way to Jehlum to retrieve the stuff and thank the guy. The man lived in a small village, had a tiny mobile shop and barely made a living. But he did everything within his power to return a lost item to its rightful owner.

Damn. It’s almost as magical to say that the universe wanted to send all the lost things back to you. This man was so noble to mediate it. Goosebumps :’)

I was visiting my friend in Berkeley in 2019. She came to pick me up in a cab and due to the excitement she left her iphone in the vehicle. The cabbie knew her location etc but never contacted or returned the gadget back. From his accent we guessed he was a spanish speaker.
