  • “It felt like some weird sitcom of the superheroes at school pickup, you know?” she joked.

Unless you’re Natalie Portman or Chris Hemsworth, bringing up your kids after school is simple.

The Black Swan actress, 41, observed her co-star, 38, trying to pick up his kids amid the after-school rush while filming Thor: Love and Thunder in Australia.

Natalie revealed in the interview that “Chris’ kids, for a period of the shooting, came to town and went to the same school as my kids,” added, “One day, we ended up at school pick up at the same time and I just felt so bad for him.”

The actress, who has an 11-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter, said Chris is “very renowned internationally,” but he’s much more popular in his native England.

Natalie observed Chris try to hide behind a tree until his kids came, but he “couldn’t, obviously” due to his celebrity.

“It felt like some weird sitcom of the superheroes at school pickup, you know?” she joked.

Natalie didn’t have the difficulty, thankfully.

She remarked, “I’m small and can kind of camouflage with the moms,” she adds, “Then he comes in and it’s like a Greek god walking through!”

The actress, who plays Jane Foster in the forthcoming Marvel film, said her kids are excited to watch her pick up Thor’s hammer Mjolnir and become the God of Thunder.

She said, “They’re excited.” “It’s wonderful that my kids are excited about anything, since they typically say, “Don’t go to work, Mommy.” Now they’re saying, ‘Go!'”

Her daughter is so happy she bought her mom’s action figure.

“My daughter got her own! She went with her nanny the other day and got the doll from the store and came home with it,” Natalie said. “She’s been running around with it going like, ‘Super mommy!’ Which made me very, very excited.”
