A STUDENT described how she was abducted and sexually attacked by a predator who pretended to be a cab driver and how she thought she would be killed and raped.

When the nightmare occurred, Zoe Laidler was out with friends in Newcastle.

A card issue prevented the 24-year-old from using Uber, so she got into a car that was parked next to a taxi stand.

Nazeem Murad then drove her ten miles to the coastal resort town of Tynemouth, where he sexually raped her.

After he was given a four-year prison sentence for kidnapping and abuse, courageous Zoe decided to give up her right to remain anonymous and talk about the experience.

After being charged, Coward Murad fled and was imprisoned without him.

The medical pupil stated: “I genuinely thought I was going to be murdered and raped.

“I finally realised we were going to the coast after twenty minutes. I kept crying and pleading with him to let me go, but he refused.

“I frantically texted my friends, asking for assistance, and I sent them my position.

“I knew I could be killed or raped, but if I recorded where he was taking me, the police might at least be able to find my body.

“I considered getting out of the car, but I decided against it since I knew that if I damaged myself, he could easily drive back and rape me without any resistance from me.

“He touched my back, bare arms, and leg after I informed him I was cold.

“I was frozen solid and petrified.”

When they got to the beach, Murad reportedly asked Zoe if she thought the moon was “romantic.”

She claimed that she prepared herself for the demon to rape her because she believed “this is it.”

Amazingly, he scoffed and turned the car around when I kept yelling and demanding to be taken home, Zoe continued.

To celebrate finishing her examinations, the student went out with several friends in the city centre.

She had a few glasses of Prosecco, but she made the decision to leave early because she was feeling weary.

HORROR ORDEAL

When Zoe borrowed Murad’s car and saw him start to drive in the wrong direction, she knew something wasn’t right.

While he made the terrible 90-minute drive, she begged him to turn around, but the creature just laughed.

Upon brave Zoe’s police report of the assault, Murad was apprehended and eventually charged.

However, the devil left the UK before his trial, so he was found guilty and jailed in his place.

In light of her fear of utilising cabs, Zoe has now discussed how the nightmare has affected her life and even resulted in a DUI conviction.

She uttered: “I got behind the wheel after having a drink because I was too afraid to call a taxi, which I know was a really stupid thing to do.

“I received a two-year driving ban. I regret it more than anything since it was a stupid mistake.

“Nazeem has significantly altered my life in ways I never anticipated. I haven’t been on a date since since I don’t trust males.

I want to warn other girls that Nazeem is still alive and to make sure that any cab they get into is legitimate.
