Michael Owen made a surprise appearance as he stepped out to enjoy day one of Royal Ascot in dapper three-piece suit on Tuesday.
In a dark grey three-piece suit with a polka dot baby blue tie and a fresh white shirt, the 42-year-old looked very sharp. He completed his formal ensemble with a gleaming black top hat.

The father-of-four posted an enthusiastic photo from the Berkshire racecourse on his Instagram account, captioning it, “Best week of the year. #RoyalAscot.”
Fans were eager to congratulate the athlete, with one remarking, “Very dapper Michael!”
“Looking sharp Mike,” wrote another.
A third person added: “Looking dapper there Michael! I hope you had a few winners mate.”
Michael was to the world-famous racecourse to cheer on a horse he owns with a handful of his former Manchester United teammates.
Michael recently made waves as a resurfaced excerpt from his 2020 autobiography, Reboot, made the rounds. The England footballer spoke out about his mental health, saying he sought “professional help” after becoming “jealous” of his wife Louise’s close bond with their eldest daughter, Love Island star Gemma Owen.
Michael went on to say that he accused his childhood sweetheart of spending too much time with their 19-year-old daughter while “ignoring” their other children as he opened up about his “inner demons.”
He concluded by saying: “Let me be very clear and say that none of this was in any way a reflection on how I felt about either Gemma or Louise. I love them both with all of me.”

Gemma, Michael’s daughter, has entered the Love Island villa as one of the hopeful singletons for this year. “I have no doubts that she will do us all proud,” Michael told in a gesture of solidarity.
“It’s probably a father’s worst nightmare, but whatever she wants to do. You’ve got to be supportive.”
