- Iman Vellani, a Pakistani-Canadian actress, is overjoyed to have landed the main part in ‘Ms. Marvel.’
- “It’s real, I still can’t believe it,” Vellani remarked in an exclusive interview with Geo News on its morning show Geo Pakistan.
- Vellani, like her character, is a great superhero lover who constructed her own Ms. Marvel outfit when she was 15 years old.
“I was only 15 at the time and used to read Ms. Marvel comics and dress up as Ms. Marvel for Halloween in high school,” she explained.
“I sent a recording to my aunt after receiving a message from her,” Vellani said of her path from fan to Marvel studio. She phoned me two days later and invited me to Los Angeles, where I travelled with my father.”

“I visited Marvel studio in Los Angeles,” the young actress, who has made the final change in the new Disney+ television drama “Ms. Marvel,” added. It was a lot of fun because there were so many Marvel characters present.”
“It was the most significant day of my life,” Vellani said.
She went on to say that she was likewise afraid of working with people who were your childhood idols, but she overcame this anxiety.
“It was an honour for me to witness Comics celebrity up close,” she continued.
She also discussed her ‘desi’ Pakistani relatives and contrasted her film persona to them.
“It’s a whole family system; for example, Kamala gets permission from her parents to travel somewhere, and I do the same in real life.” I, too, have an older brother like Aamir (from Marvel). He taunts me, but he’s so adorable.”

“It also featured the favourite songs of Pakistanis,” the 19-year-old actor stated of the film’s music. This music is a component of the overall project.”
Ms. Marvel is widely regarded as Marvel Comics’ biggest breakout star in the previous decade.
In addition to her role as Kamala Khan in the television programme, Vellani is expected to collaborate with Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel, in the 2023 film ‘The Marvels.’
