The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) begins developing a Technology Marketing Export Program Framework in order to boost IT and ITeS exports and meet the $10 billion export objective set for the next five years.

A feasibility study will be conducted as part of this project, which will identify export destinations and give a plan for growing IT exports and participation of Pakistani IT/ITeS firms in important international IT events.

A number of program components would be included in the framework, such as media campaigns, targeted events, trade exhibits, and so on. The study would also look into the planning and costing of the program’s many components, as well as the program’s duration, implementation plan, and action plan technique for the top 10 export destination countries.

The study will provide a marketing and branding strategy for boosting IT/ITeS exports to $10 billion over the next five years. It will recommend the creation of country-specific public relations, branding, and marketing campaigns to target the top seven IT/ITeS export destination countries, as well as three potential /emerging markets.

In collaboration with the Pakistan Software Export Board, the feasibility study will create a 360-degree country branding and marketing strategy. It would also create at least two hallmark tech events in Pakistan to promote the local sector on par with other regional trade exhibitions such as GITEX, MWC, ITW, and CommunicAsia in terms of scale and competition.

According to PSEB, the study’s main goal is to conduct thorough worldwide market research and analysis, as well as research and analysis of trade data, demand, and supply of IT and ITeS products and services, as well as features of foreign markets, including niche market identification.

Until June 30th, the Pakistan Software Export Board is accepting bids for the Technology Marketing Export Program. The study is estimated to take 6 months to complete, according to PSEB. The applicant firm is urged, however, to offer a shorter research length without sacrificing the quality of the deliverables. The PSDP has set up Rs. 80 million for this research.
