- While thinking on the most ‘humiliating and awful’ trial, Amber Heard promised to never back down from her charges against ex husband Johnny Depp.
- The 36-year-old actor told NBC Today anchor Savannah Guthrie, “I have never felt more detached from my own humanity, I felt less than human.”
She described occasions in which people yelled “fire the witch” and “death to Amber” while the actress was in court with her ex-husband in Virginia.

“After three and a half weeks, I took the stand and found a courtroom packed full of passionate, enthusiastic Captain Jack Sparrow enthusiasts,” she claimed.
“I believe the great bulk of this trial took place on social media.” This trial, I believe, is an example of something gone crazy, gone amok,:” Heard continued.
Heard stated during the interview, which is set to appear on Tuesday, “To my dying day, I will stand by every word in my testimony.”
“I never had to provoke it — I just responded to it,” Heard said, adding, “When you live in violence and it becomes routine — as I testified — you have to adjust.”
