Pak vs WI: ‘Team is that they have fired up expectations in the fans’ says Ramiz Raja

Ramiz Raja, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), stated that the current Pakistan cricket squad has boosted the expectations of the people after the national cricket team defeated West Indies in front of a boisterous Multan crowd.

Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Waseem Jr. bowled brilliantly to help Pakistan defeat West Indies by 120 runs and win the three-match series 2-0 with one match remaining.

Raja stated on Twitter that fans are now emotionally invested in the team.

“What’s been great about this Pak [Pakistan] team is that they have fired up expectations in the fans, who are now emotionally invested in the team owning it. Well done fans and great series win Pak,” Ramiz wrote.

Pakistan will face the West Indies on June 12 at the Multan Cricket Stadium in the series’ final encounter.
