KARACHI: The father of missing teenager Dua Zehra, Mehdi Kazmi, rejected the medical report to ascertain her age.
As per sources privy to the matter, the medical report was presented before Sindh High Court (SHC) today when the hearing was resumed.
The report declared the girl nearly 17-year-old after running multiple tests including a bones test to determine her age.
However, her father repudiated the results and maintained that the girl is merely 14 years. In support of his claim, Mehdi Kazmi asserted that the NADRA record is enough evidence to determine age of Dua Zehra.
A twisting turn in the story is that the girl herself claimed earlier that her age is more than 18 years and asserted that her case is not of abduction and she left the house willingly for Zaheer Ahmed.

Furthermore, in today’s proceeding, Dua’s mother tried to meet her daughter while she was entering the court in police custody to which the mother was not allowed by the security officials.
The mother pleaded with wet eyes and was lent some moments with her daughter who seemed reluctant to meet her parents.
SHC also asked Dua Zehra if she wants to meet her parents to which she refused.
However, the court ordered a meeting between the girl and her family.
Notably, when the girl went missing in April an abduction report was registered for her who later maintained in a video message that she left her residence willingly to tie the knot with Zaheer.
