The third season of Ted Lasso is being written as if it will be the final one, according to Brett Goldstein, who plays the foul-mouthed Roy Kent and writes for the program (via Variety). “We are writing it like that,”,” he explained. “It was planned as three. Spoiler alert — everyone dies.”

Ted Lasso is Apple TV Plus’s most popular show, but it’s unclear when it’ll stop. According to Variety, Ted Lasso co-creator and actor Jason Sudeikis has spoken about the three-season narrative. He told Entertainment Weekly, “That three-season arc is one that I see, know, and understand.” It’s also unknown when the third season will launch, but it appears to be later than the previous two, which debuted in August and July, respectively.
