Emma said, “When you put everyone’s needs above your own, no one wins,” added, “I don’t do this perfectly but I really am trying so I can be the best I can be for the people I love and adore.”

After Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia, the model, who has two kids with the actor, Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8, has been candid about the challenges of being a caretaker. Aphasia is a language problem that affects one’s ability to understand, talk, read, and write, according to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

She said last month that caring for her entire family “had taken a toll on my mental health and overall health.”
she told The Bump, “I put my family’s needs above my own,” added, “which I found does not make me any kind of hero.”
