- Brad Pitt seemed adamant that Angelina Jolie not sell interests in their vineyard without his permission.
- The couple’s French home, which they jointly owned and married in 2014, was sold by the ex-wife in 2021 without consulting Pitt.
- The actor is now suing Jolie for the unjust contract.
Pitt says in his most recent court petition that Jolie, 47, willfully “sought to inflict injury on” him by selling her stake in the winery.

Pitt claims they committed not to sell their separate stakes in the family firm without the approval of the other.
The records were obtained by PEOPLE from the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Pitt went on to say that via his efforts, the vineyard blossomed “into a multimillion-dollar worldwide corporation and one of the world’s most well respected makers of rosé wine.”

He claims that Jolie has “nothing to do with Miraval’s success.”
“Jolie sought and then finalised the putative transaction in secret, purposefully keeping Pitt in the dark, and intentionally breaching Pitt’s contractual rights,” the docs added.
