- German FM to visit Pakistan soon
- Annalena will arrive at the invitation of Bilawal Bhutto
- The two sides will discuss bilateral issues
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson said on Monday that German Foreign Minister (FM) will arrive in Pakistan on a two-day long visit on June 7. German FM Annalena Baerbock will visit at the invitation of her Pakistani counterpart Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
As per details, this is going to be the first visit of any German FM and both sides will likely discuss topics of mutual interest.

The delegation will consider bilateral cooperation while Annalena will also meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during the stay.
The foreign office in a statement maintained that Germany is a valuable partner of Pakistan and the two countries attach special importance to strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade and investment, energy, defense and people-to-people contacts.
Pakistan and Germany completed 70 years of diplomatic relations in 2021 and the milestone was splendidly celebrated on both sides.
