Angelina Jolie failed to file a new airworthiness certificate for her aeroplane before it expired on June 30th because she failed to renew the plane’s registration on time. What!?! According to Federal Aviation Administration files (FAA).

Angelina Jolie’s team even filed a renewal application to the agency, but it was late, and the actress was grounded that day.

Jolie explained why she became a qualified pilot in the first place in an interview with People many years ago. “Every time Mad sees a plane, he’s amazed… (I thought) If I could actually fly a plane by the time he’s 4, I’ll be like Superman to him,” Ms Jolie, we’re sure he still thinks of you as his Superwoman.

Angelina Jolie reportedly possessed (and most likely still has) a red and white Cirrus SR-22 plane worth $360,000, according to sources. The plane has one of the fastest single-engine planes in the world, capable of reaching speeds of 300 mph. Angelina Jolie is said to have flown her entire family, including ex-husband Brad Pitt and her children Maddox, Shiloh, Pax, Zahara, and twins Vivienne and Knox, on her own jet.
