The suspected murders of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot by unidentified gunmen while travelling last Sunday, have been identified, according to Indian police.
The suspected attackers were seen on surveillance camera footage at a gas station, where they stayed for a long period to refuel the vehicle that was allegedly used in the crime. The filling station was located halfway between Fatehabad, Haryana, and Sardulgarh, Punjab.

Officials described two individuals identified as Parvat Fauji and Jonty as “notorious criminals from Haryana’s Sonipat” who were observed getting a white Bolero car refuelled. The sharpshooters may have gone to Nepal, according to officials.

Meanwhile, in the Indian capital, a high-level investigation is underway, with the special cell of Delhi police looking into gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s possible participation in the heinous murder.
Soon after the government cancelled his security protection, the 28-year-old Indian musician was slain while travelling in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29. The well-known rapper was brought to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
On Tuesday, he was cremated in his hometown, where a large crowd gathered to pay their respects to the artist.
