The picture, which also stars Naomi Scott, Franz Rogowski, and San Harris, will be directed by Australian filmmaker David Michod, who is known for films such as ‘Animal Kingdom,’ ‘War Machine,’ and ‘The King.’ Michod also created the script, according to the daily news portal, based on a narrative he co-wrote with regular collaborator and actor Joel Edgerton.

The movie depicts two foolish pothead beach-bar owners (Davidson and Rogowski) who get themselves into problems when they come upon stolen property that they should have left alone. After award-winning films like ‘Moonlight,’ ‘Minari,’ and ‘The Last Black Man in San Francisco,’ this is the company’s fourth collaboration.

Bloom will next be seen in the second season of his programme ‘Carnival Row,’ which also stars Cara Delevingne and is known for his roles in blockbuster film franchises such as ‘The Pirates of the Caribbean’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings.’

He’ll also star alongside Andie MacDowell in the action thriller ‘Red Right Hand.’
