Camila Cabello has criticised ‘rude’ football fans for booing her during the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday at the Stade de France in Paris. The event’s warm-up act, the 25-year-old diva, expressed her dissatisfaction in a now-deleted tweet in which she emphasised how hard her team worked to ”give a good show.’
The 25-year-old singer rushed to Twitter shortly after leaving the pitch to blame Liverpool and Real Madrid fans for drowning out her nearly six-minute start. Cabello stated, “I can’t believe people were singing their team’s anthem so loudly throughout our performance.”
According to Page Six, Cabello added, “Like my crew and I worked diligently for so long to provide the appropriate vibes and give a wonderful show.” “Very harsh, but whatever,” Camila added five minutes later in a follow-up post. “I’m glad you guys loved it!”
Both tweets have since been deleted, but in response to photographs posted by the Don’t Go Yet singer Sunday morning — which appeared to be taken while she was watching Real Madrid score the game-winning goal — a number of fans voiced their opinions on the brawl. Her performance, which included a mash-up of favourites including Senorita, Havana, and Bam Bam, was reportedly still entertaining to some.
Camila was supported by a bevvy of dancers who used traditional Spanish fans and large flags during the stunning spectacle. Brightly dressed musicians beat the drums as they circled the American-Cuban star while pyrotechnics filled the sky. The pop queen oozed confidence as she performed sensuously and sang passionately into the camera.
