When Russian soldiers are evacuated to positions held prior to February 24, 2022, Ukraine will resume discussions with Russia.
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the pertinent statement in an interview with Japan’s NHK.
“Victory means reclaiming areas for each Ukrainian.” We consider Crimea and Donbas to be our lands. Today, we are reclaiming our lands through military means. We are doing everything correctly. We’re battling for our own survival. “I’d like us to get to the February 24 borders at the very least, and then we’ll propose to sit down at the negotiation table again and agree on peace, the end of the war, and the return of our areas,” Zelensky said
A reminder that Ukraine’s Advisor to the Head of the President’s Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, claimed earlier that peace talks with Russia had been suspended. According to him, negotiations may continue once Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presents a road map and Russia begins to take the world seriously.
