NEW YORK: The newly elect Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Thursday that it would be erroneous to inculpate Pakistan for the Russian visit.
Bilawal Bhutto was addressing a press conference in New York during his visit to attend the ministerial meeting on the “Global Food Security Call to Action”.
He said that the visit was paid in line with the country’s foreign policy and would defend the decision.
While underscoring the scourge of war, he maintained that its been ages the world has been witnessing the fallouts of violent conflicts.
The foreign minister also urged the international community to give a thought to the emerging Afghanistan crisis.
He maintained that if the Afghanistan issue would be ignored then many tragedies will surface with the human crisis in essence.

Whereas, touching on the political temperature in Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto said that the opposition has every right to protest but sadly Imran Khan has been steering the politics towards extremism.
He also opined that the incumbent government led by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) must be given chance to solve the problems of the state.
The FM while commenting on the trade policies of Pakistan, highlighted that trade has been the priority of his ministry and the government would focus on producing large crops.
Notably, the foreign minister is on his maiden visit to the United States at the invitation of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
