The sister of US President Joe Biden has invited Meghan Markle to join the Democratic Party.

She believes the Duchess of Sussex would be an excellent candidate for the presidency of the United States.

Valerie Biden Owens has stated that more women need to get involved in politics and that Meghan would be “welcome” to join the party.

“It’s wonderful to have women in politics,” Owens said. The more women there are, the better our democratic system will function. We cordially invite her to join the Democratic Party.”

Angela Levin, senior royal biographer, said of her statement, “We don’t need to listen to Joe Biden’s sister.”
