Ellen DeGeneres delivers a powerful message as she wraps out her 19th season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Ellen says When Ellen DeGeneres’ show first aired in 2003, she claimed that the iPhone didn’t exist.

As she filmed her final show after 19 seasons, Ellen DeGeneres gave a powerful message about how life has changed, saying: “We watched  the world changed. Sometimes for the better, sometimes not “.

On April 28, the renowned TV personality stated that she has taped the final edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

With a poignant message on social media, the reigning queen of daytime TV reflected on the enormity of the moment, acknowledging how the landscape has evolved since the show first aired nearly two decades ago.

“When we started this show in 2003, the iPhone didn’t exist,” Ellen wrote in her caption on Instagram. “Social Media didn’t exist. Gay marriage wasn’t legal. We watched the world change, sometimes for the better, sometimes not. But whatever was happening, my goal was always for the show to be a place where we could all come together and laugh for an hour.”

“Being invited into your lives has been the greatest privilege of my life and has brought me incredible joy,” she wrote. “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Ellen told viewers she was ending her talk show back in 2021, saying she “truly have felt like next season was the right time” to end it.

The announcement came after the popular comic was mired in a scandal over allegations of a harsh work environment.

“The truth is, I always trust my instincts. My instinct told me it’s time,” Ellen DeGeneres said on an episode of her show.
