From the year the Pakistan Film Industry was established, 959 movies have been delivered such a long ways on the times of Eid-ul-Fitr including urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, and other local dialects.
As indicated by a report in Film Database Magazine, Pakistan’s most memorable film ‘Teri Yaad’ was delivered on Eid-ul-Fitr 1948.

During the 1980s, from 1980 to 1989, 94 movies were delivered on Eid-ul-Fitr, of which 13 were superhits, 15 were hits and 12 found the middle value of business.
In the 90’s, from 1990 to 1999, around 84 movies were screened on Eid-ul-Fitr, of which 3 were megahit, 3 were normal, and the rest fizzled in the cinematic world.
During the 2000s, 84 movies were set free from 2000 to 2009, of which just 3 were superhit, one hit, one normal, and the rest fizzled.
In the ten years 2010, from 2010 to 2019, an aggregate of 89 movies were delivered upon the arrival of Eid-ul-Fitr, out of which 3 crushed the movies, 7 were hits and 3 fared well.
It is appropriate to specify that because of the spread of the destructive pandemic around the world, which prompted the conclusion of Pakistani film houses, no new film was delivered over the most recent two years on Eid-ul-Fitr days.
