Five people, ranging in age from 15 to 19, were hurt but are in stable condition, according to Atlanta Police Deputy Chief Timothy Peek.
According to Peek, officers were dispatched to a crossroads of Centennial Olympic Park Drive in downtown Atlanta in response to a complaint of a shooting.
Officers arrived at 10 p.m. and discovered three persons with gunshot wounds after “some form of argument,” according to Peek.

Two other persons had taken themselves to a neighbouring hospital, investigators discovered later. According to Peek, they are suspected of stealing a car from a nearby valet at gunpoint.
The deputy chief stated there are male and female victims, but he didn’t know the “precise split.”
“At this point in time, the true motivation for the shooting has not been identified,” Peek continued.
According to Peek, police seized three guns and at least one stolen car.
