According to the girl’s mother, her daughter had gone to the church to cycle when she was raped by the priest, Albert.

Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh: An 11-year-old girl was reportedly raped by the priest of a church in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, police said on Sunday.
They claimed the event happened on Saturday at a community in the Chandinagar area.

Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadoun said the girl’s mother submitted a complaint alleging that her daughter had gone to the church for cycling when the priest, Albert, assaulted her. The defendant further threatened the youngster with terrible repercussions if she told anybody about the situation. The girl, on the other hand, told her parents about her incident when she got home, he added.
According to him, the priest was detained as a result of the allegation.
