Ukraine has started an online campaign to buy fighter jets. “Buy Me A Fighter Jet” seeks public funding for new fighter aircraft to fend off Russian advances.
On the campaign website, “Please buy me a fighter jet” is written in bold and all-caps. The homepage also includes a video in which a Ukrainian pilot walks past destroyed military equipment, including fighter jets, before looking into the camera and saying, “Buy me a fighter jet.”
It will assist me in protecting my sky from Russian planes that bomb my land, kill my friends, and destroy our friends as well as everything I have ever known,” the pilot continues.
