Britney Spears has objected to paying her mother Lynne’s legal bills from her conservatorship case, which total $663,202.84. Britney’s next step following the collapse of her conservatorship is this objection.

“Britney Spears has for decades been her family’s only income. Supporting her entire family,” according to remarks made by her lawyer Matthew Rosengart. “Lynne Spears and her attorneys are seeking more than $660,000 in legal fees and charges from Britney Spears.” He further claimed that because Britney’s mother was not an official party participating in the conservatorship. Therefore, there is “no legal power” to support her request. “Britney Spears opposes the Petition in its entirety,” the statement reads.

Lynne’s attorneys filed the petition on November 1st, 2021, in light of Lynne’s’support’ for the conservatorship’s dissolution. Britney has been outspoken about her mother’s involvement in the case since the beginning.
“My dad may have begun the conservatorship 13 years ago. However, what people don’t know is that my mum is the one who gave him the idea,” she told the judges during her conservatorship trial.
