Olivia Rodrigo is not just a devotee of early-aughts fashion, but also of the era’s ultimate style icon, Paris Hilton.
The “Drivers License” singer hired the socialite superstar to DJ her Grammys 2022 afterparty, and she wore a Y2K-inspired plunging blue short by Blumarine for the occasion.
The outfit bore a remarkable resemblance to one Hilton wore to her 21st birthday celebration in 2002, with its halter neckline, ruffled high-low hem, and sparkly butterfly adornment.
Rodrigo’s outfit, however, was custom-made by Blumarine’s creative director, Nicola Brognano, and styled by sisters Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo.
Rodrigo, who won three Grammys on Sunday, including Best New Artist, joined Hilton in the DJ booth behind a screen that said “baby’s first Grammys.”
The “Simple Life” singer, who was dressed in a lime-colored sequined Dundas gown ($4,490), then serenaded the 19-year-old superstar with her 2006 single, “Stars Are Blind,” with Rodrigo giving backup vocals.

“ily @parishilton,” the teen queen wrote photographs from the party on Instagram Monday night, with Hilton replying, “So proud of you gorgeous.” Last night was a blast celebrating with you!!”
To add to the retro vibes, the “Good 4 U” singer wore a Pamela Anderson-inspired updo to her celebration, which was done by renowned hairdresser Clayton Hawkins.
The beauty guru, who created the look with a $7 Dove hair serum, was also responsible for Rodrigo’s beauty-queen curls on the red carpet, which she teamed with a figure-framing Vivienne Westwood gown, opera gloves, and a pair of chokers.
