The popularity and humour of Indian TV serials appear to have transcended boundaries and reached Nigeria as well. Nigerian artists recently crafted a spoof of a scene from one of India’s TV dramas, and the video is sure to make you chuckle.
In this video, the artist, Paul Casta, takes on the role of Pragya and falls from the stairwell in slow motion, defying gravity. Tanu, Pragya’s sister, then phones Raju, Pragya’s husband, who had left for work. ‘Pragya is still tumbling down,’ says the narrator. He rushes to her aid after receiving the call, as Tanu keeps an eye on them.
Khalid Baig posted the video on Twitter with the caption, “To Ekta Kapoor, with love, from Nigeria.”
