The pouch resulted in a total of 291 grammes of gold, worth Rs 15,42,300. The investigators brought the passenger before a judge and filed a petition asking for him to be taken into jail. After hearing their argument, the judge remanded the accused to judicial custody because he was not necessary for further interrogation.
