JET2 passengers applauded as a woman who allegedly slapped passengers and shouted in an air steward’s face was kicked off the plane.
After the plane was diverted to Vienna, the rowdy woman was hauled off the flight from Manchester to Turkey and escorted off the plane.
She started a commotion thousands of feet in the air after boarding the crowded flight on Monday.
The blonde, who is believed to be from the Kirklees area of West Yorkshire, is seen pacing up and down the cabin before yelling at crew members in shocking footage.
“What have I done wrong on this flight?” she yells repeatedly.
The woman then continues to yell at Jet2 employees and confronts a stewardess who is attempting to calm the situation.
In the video, a member of the crew can be seen telling her to “”Step back,” says the enraged woman, to which she responds, “I’m back.” You need to clear your head.”
“You’re not doing yourself any favours,” says the airline employee.
But the obnoxious passenger retorted, “You’re not doing yourself any favours either.”
“So, what did I do?” Don’t touch me, don’t **** with me!”
Disgusted passengers watched the row unfold just inches away, with one man seen in the video shaking his head in disbelief.
On Monday, the plane took off from Manchester Airport around 9.15 a.m. for the four-and-a-half-hour flight to Antalya.
However, after the woman began her rampage, pilots were forced to make an unplanned diversion to Vienna.
One passenger claimed she had even physically assaulted other passengers prior to the explosive altercation with the stewardess.
At around 11.40 a.m., the woman was escorted off the Jet2 plane, where officers were waiting.
“DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOUR”
Just before dinnertime, the airline apologised to passengers onboard the flight via text message.
“Hello, we are sorry that your flight has been diverted to Vienna due to the disruptive behaviour of a fellow passenger.”
“We’re putting together a plan to get you on your way as soon as possible.”
Triumphant passengers then applauded as she was led away by cops, shouting “bye bye.”
“Wait until you get the bill, love!” joked another passenger.
The plane then took off again for Antalya, arriving shortly after 3 p.m.
One anonymous passenger on the plane claimed that the female passenger became disruptive “about an hour and 20 minutes” into the flight.
“There was a lot of noise,” they told the Manchester Evening News. Then she made her way to the front of the plane.
“She was really angry towards Jet2 staff and wouldn’t calm down. Her voice was getting louder and more aggressive – she was shouting in people’s faces.
“People were saying she was kicking off at the airport before she even got on the plane. Then some people said it was over babies crying on the flight.
“A customer said something and she slapped him in the face. Then a man got up to try and calm the situation before taking her to the back of the plane.”
According to the passenger, staff then decided to divert the flight to Vienna.
As the plane touched down, the woman is said to have slapped another passenger as she exited the plane.
The passenger went on to say that Jet2’s staff handled the situation “very well.”
“We can confirm that flight LS895 from Manchester to Antalya was diverted to Vienna earlier today so that a disruptive passenger could be offloaded,” a Jet2 spokesman said of the incident.
