In the middle of the night, an Australian woman thought she heard a thief sneaking into her kitchen, but it turned out to be a massive python.
The woman lives in rural Glenview in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast Region, thought she heard shattered glass coming from her kitchen and that someone had broken and entered her home.
As a result, the woman called the cops a burglar in her home. When she dashed into the kitchen, however, she discovered a python curled up in one of the cabinets.

Snake hunters were called, and the Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers uploaded a video of the python’s rescue and relocation on Facebook. A man can be seen in the footage collecting a stick from the back of the car and going to the kitchen to rescue the snake.
As the rescuer wrote in the post, “I headed over and relocated it for her back out into the bush,” he added, “It was a busy night last night with plenty of snakes on the move and a few of them entering houses.”
The video has over 52k views and a thousand likes.
