PM Imran greets nation, Muslim Ummah on Shab-e-Barat

Prime Minister Imran Khan greeted the nation and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat on Friday.

“May the God Almighty have mercy on us and grants us peace and prosperity. Ameen,” said the premier in his message on Twitter.

PM recently congratulated the Muslim Ummah as the UN adopted a landmark resolution which was introduced by Pakistan on behalf of the OIC, designating 15 March as International Day to Combat Islamophobia.

Shab-e-Barat

Shab-e-Barat, the night of blessings and forgiveness, will be observed tonight with solemnity.

Amid the suspension of all covid-related restrictions, after the country witnessed a continuous declining trend of the disease, many of the faithful are expected to throng the mosques to offer special prayers and Nawafils during the whole night following SOPs.

However, women and children will spend the night at homes offering prayers and seeking blessings of God Almighty.

The religious scholars have appealed to the masses to make diligent and whole-hearted supplications before the Almighty Allah on the blessed night of Shab-e-Barat for peace and prosperity in the country.

The premier also wished the Hindu community today a very happy Holi.
