Twitter has stated that it will not allow personal media such as images and videos to be shared on its platform without the person’s consent.
The privacy policy of the social media company already bans the sharing of other people’s personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, and IDs.

In a blog post, Twitter stated, “When we are notified by individuals depicted, or by an authorized representative, that they did not consent to have their private image or video shared, we will remove it,”
Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter, stepped down as CEO on Monday, handing over reins to its technology chief Parag Agrawal.
