BTS, right now, is the biggest boy band on the planet and they have a plethora of awards and achievements to back that title up. Often called the South-Korean phenomenon that took the world by storm, the band has had massive success pulling in the American audience – the proof? Their massive win at the AMAs.

The band won big at the American Music Awards as they won 3 awards out of the 4 categories they were nominated for. The biggest win being ‘Artist of the Year,’ the band managed to win the award without releasing a single album this year. The band performed My Universe wit Coldplay and also their award-winning single Butter that won an award for ‘Favourite Pop Song.’ The band, given their popularity also won the award for ‘Best Pop/Rock Duo/Group.’

Overwhelmed, Kim Ramjoon (RM) said, “Seven boys from Korea, united by love for music, met the love and support from all the armies all over the world, this whole thing is a miracle. Seriously, we would never take this for granted.” Members were overjoyed to be performing for a physical audience as opposed to performing for an online audience, the band has had a number of online concerts and performances for their fans due to the ongoing pandemic.
