Khel Khel Mein, an upcoming Pakistani film that is set to look back at the events of the Indo-Pak War of 1971 is gaining widespread attention in Bangladesh ahead of its release.
The much-anticipated film has been making headlines since its first teaser trailer dropped on October 30th. Late last night, the hashtag #KhelKhelMein was trending on Bangladeshi Twitter.

The movie is to be a historical drama that largely revolves around a group of students who revisit the events of the 1971 war and the circumstances that led to the establishment of Bangladesh as a sovereign country.
The film, directed by Nabeel Qureshi and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza, will star Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas Khan. It’ll be the first Pakistani movie to get released post-pandemic on 19th November 2021.
The film’s short synopsis reads, “A story inspired by true events, unfolding 50 Years of mistrust, memories, and myths.” The cast also includes Marina Khan, Javed Sheikh, Samina Ahmed, and Manzar Sehbai.
Since the movie is touching patriotism, audiences from across the border also seem impatient for the release of the movie.
