Lili Reinhart makes a video plea for the safe return of Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre Sacasa’s father.

The actor shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “#FREEFRANCISCO.” We believe in democracy and human rights, and we are deeply concerned about the treatment of Nicaraguan political and civil society leaders.

For those unfamiliar with the situation, Roberto Aguirre- Sacasa’s father was kidnapped and arrested, along with a dozen of other activists. Nobody knows where they are being held or whether they are receiving food, water, or medicine.
